Creators can add multiple Idea submission questions, in the required format and make them optional to answer (For ex: Question: What is your idea about? detail it in a paragraph and the box beside it can be ticked to make it optional to answer).
Users have specific control over the submission. In certain scenarios, you can manually control idea submissions from this page by clicking close submission or submission started. Close submission will be a clickable action button, but the submission started will not be clickable due to the current stage of the hackathon.
The section 'Do you want to enable submissions even without any challenge/problem statements?' indicates if an organizer wants the participants to submit solutions/ideas before the organizers want them to choose a problem statement. if start submissions is clicked it will allow registered participants to submit their ideas without a problem statement.
Organisers can add questions according to their requirements and make them optional by checking the required box.
For instance, if the organizer has not given customizable questions, by default the portal will add 5 questions. These 5 questions that fill the gap will be:
1) Choose the challenge? Choose your Problem Statement?
2) Brief about your idea
3)Explain your tech stack
4) What is the USP of your Idea?
5) If any presentation links, submit your ppt's or PDFs
There is no limit on the number of questions to be added. However, it is a standard norm to add 6-8 questions to ensure that participants aren't burdened.
Any instructions to be followed, type them in the bottom text area. It will be displayed in the model on the dashboard where the registered participants will submit their idea.
