This document provides a detailed guide to the "My Profile" section on the Vision platform by Hack2skill. It outlines the different sections, display items, interactions, and actions you can perform to manage and enhance your profile.
Accessing My Profile
Homepage: Start at the Vision by Hack2skill homepage.
Login/Signup: If you haven't already, click on the "Login" or "Signup" button (usually located in the top right corner) and create an account or log in with your existing credentials.
Profile Dropdown: Once logged in, click on your profile icon or username in the top right corner. This will open a dropdown menu.
My Profile: Select "My Profile" from the dropdown menu to access your profile page.
My Profile Sections
The "My Profile" section is divided into the following key areas:
About: This section includes your basic information and a customizable "Headline" for your profile.
Contact Details: Contains your email, mobile number, and WhatsApp number.
Education Details: Allows you to add and manage your educational qualifications.
Skills: Provides a space to list your skills and expertise.
Project Works: Enables you to showcase your project experience by adding details about each project.
Work Experience: Allows you to add and manage your work experience, including job titles, companies, and durations.
Certificate & Awards: Provides a section to list any certifications or awards you have received.
Interactions and Actions
Edit Introduction:
Click the pencil icon next to the "About" section.
A pop-up window titled "Edit Introduction" will appear.
Fill in the fields for Full Name, Country, State, and City.
You can also choose to show your location on your profile by checking the "Show Location in Profile" box.
Note: Your username can only be changed once every 14 days.
Click "Save" to save your changes.
Edit Headline:
Click the pencil icon next to the "Headline" section.
A pop-up window titled "Edit Headline" will appear.
Enter your desired headline in the provided field.
You can choose to show your headline on your profile by checking the "Show Headline in profile" box.
Click "Save" to save your changes.
Upload Banner Image:
Click the camera icon next to the "Headline" section.
A pop-up window titled "Upload Banner Image" will appear.
Click "Drop your image here or browse" to upload a banner image from your computer.
The supported image file size is up to 1MB, and the aspect ratio should be 3:1.
Once you've selected an image, click "Apply."
Edit Interests:
Click the pencil icon next to the "Interests" section.
A pop-up window titled "Edit Interests" will appear.
You can enable or disable the display of this section on your public profile using the toggle switch.
Enter your interests in the "Interests" field, separated by commas.
Click "Save" to save your changes.
Edit Contact Details:
Click the pencil icon next to the "Contact Details" section.
A pop-up window titled "Edit Contact Details" will appear.
You can edit your Mobile Number and WhatsApp number.
Click "Save" to save your changes.
Add Education:
Click the plus icon next to the "Education" section.
A pop-up window titled "Add Education" will appear.
Choose the type of educational details you want to add: "School Education" or "College Education."
Fill in the relevant fields based on your selection (School Name, Class, Grade, Start Date, End Date, Institute Name, Degree, Specialization).
Click "Save" to save your changes.
Edit Skills:
Click the pencil icon next to the "Skills" section.
A pop-up window titled "Skills" will appear.
You can enable or disable the display of this section on your public profile using the toggle switch.
Enter your skills in the "Skills" field, separated by commas.
Click "Save" to save your changes.
Add Project:
Click the plus icon next to the "Projects" section.
A pop-up window titled "Add Project" will appear.
Fill in the fields for Project Title, Description, Link, Start Date, End Date, and Add Contributors.
Click "Submit" to save your project details.
Add Experience:
Click the plus icon next to the "Experience" section.
A pop-up window titled "Add Experience" will appear.
Fill in the fields for Job Title, Employment Type, Company Name, Industry Domain, Start Date, End Date expected, Location, and Description.
Click "Save" to save your work experience details.
Display Items
User Information: Level, username, email, profile picture, banner image.
Headline: Your personalized profile headline.
About: Your full name, country, state, and city (optional).
Contact Details: Email, mobile number, WhatsApp number.
Education: List of your educational qualifications.
Skills: List of your skills and expertise.
Projects: Details about your projects, including title, description, link, dates, and contributors.
Experience: Details about your work experience, including job title, company, dates, and description.
Certificates & Awards: List of your certifications and awards.
