The Forms tab allows hackathon organizers to collect various information from participants using customizable forms. This data can range from project details, to feedback surveys, contact information, and more.
This guide walks you through the details of the Forms tab, showcasing its functionality and usage from the participant's perspective.
Login: Access your Team Dashboard after logging into the Vision by Hack2skill platform.
Navigate: Click on the "Forms" tab located in the navigation bar of your Team Dashboard.
Upon entering the Forms tab, you'll be presented with multiple "Form Sections," each representing a unique form created by the hackathon organizers.
Each Form Section clearly displays:
Form Title and Description: This provides context and information about the specific form and its purpose.
Form Fields: These are interactive fields where you provide the requested information. Field types can vary depending on the form's requirements. Common examples include:
Text boxes: For free-form text input.
Multiple-choice selections: Allowing you to select one or more options from a predefined list.
Dropdowns: Offering a scrollable list to choose a single option.
Date and time pickers: For specifying dates and times.
Review: Carefully read the Form Title and Description to understand the form's purpose and the information required.
Fill in the Fields: Input the relevant information into the respective Form Fields. Pay attention to any specific instructions or limitations mentioned within the form.
Submit: Once you've filled in all the required fields, click the "Submit" button to send your completed form to the hackathon organizers.
Cancel: If you wish to stop filling out the form and discard any entered information, click the "Cancel" button. This will take you back to the main Forms tab view.
The specific Form Fields and overall structure of forms will vary depending on the hackathon and the information the organizers require. Always refer to the Form Title and Description for specific instructions and context.
