The Polls tab is where organizers can gather opinions and feedback from hackathon participants. It's a simple and effective way to engage your audience and get valuable insights.
Here's what you'll see on the Polls tab:
Poll Questions: Each poll is displayed with a clear question and corresponding answer options. These questions can be multiple-choice, single-choice, or open-ended, depending on what the organizer chooses.
Poll Results: Once participants have voted, the results are visually presented. You might see percentages, bar charts, or other graphical representations, making it easy to understand the distribution of responses.
Casting your vote is straightforward:
Review the Question: Carefully read the poll question and understand the answer choices provided.
Select Your Response: Choose the answer that best reflects your opinion or knowledge.
View the Results (Optional): You can typically see the current results of the poll after voting. This gives you immediate insight into the overall sentiment of the hackathon participants.
Participation is typically optional, but your input is valuable!
The organizers might have deadlines for participating in certain polls, so stay attentive.
You might not be able to change your vote once submitted, so choose wisely!
Let's say the organizers want to know which workshop topic is most popular among participants. They might create a poll with the questions:
"Which workshop are you most excited to attend?"
The answer options could include:
"Intro to Machine Learning"
"Building Mobile Apps with Flutter"
"Design Thinking for Innovation"
After you vote, you'll see how many other participants share your preference!
