Using the Event Data Centre in Vision to View Registered Participants

This user guide will walk you through how to navigate and utilize the "Event Data Centre" feature on Vision to access detailed information about registered participants for any event.

Prerequisites:

  • You must be an organizer or have administrator access to the specific event.

Steps:

  1. Access the Organizer Dashboard:

    • Log in to your Vision account.

    • Go to the "Organizer Dashboard" section on the Vision platform.

    • Click on the "Event Admin" button of the event you want to access the participant details.

  2. Navigate to the Event Data Centre:

    • From the left sidebar, select "Event Data Center".

    • You will see the "Event Data Centre" page appear.

    • The page title will display "Event Data Centre", and the subtitle will show "Your centralized data centre for all the details of registered innovators for your initiative".

  3. Search and Filter:

    • The "Event Data Centre" is a centralized database containing various details about registered participants.

    • You can use the search and filter features to locate and view specific participant information.

Search Feature - A search bar is located in the top-left corner. - Type in the participant's name, email, phone number, or any other relevant details in the search bar. - Click the magnifying glass icon or press enter to initiate the search. - Search results will be displayed on the page, listing all participants matching your search criteria.

Filter Feature: - You can use filters to refine your search further and narrow down the list of participants. - Click the "Filters" button located on the right side of the page. - The "Filters" pop-up will appear, displaying a list of filterable parameters. - Available filters include: - Country: Select the country to filter participants from. - State: Choose the state to filter participants from. - City: Select the city to filter participants from. - Gender: Choose to filter by male, female, or both. - Occupation: Filter participants based on their occupation. - Age: Use the slider to specify an age range to filter participants by. - Apply the filters you want and click "Apply".

  1. Default Data Columns:

    • The Event Data Centre displays information in various columns:

      • Timestamp: Indicates the date and time of the participant's registration.

      • Full Name: Shows the full name of the participant.

      • Email: Displays the participant's email address.

      • Mobile Number: Shows the participant's mobile phone number.

      • Whatsapp: Displays the participant's WhatsApp number.

      • Country: Indicates the participant's country.

      • State: Shows the participant's state.

      • City: Displays the participant's city.

      • Date of Birth: Provides the participant's date of birth.

      • Gender: Specifies the participant's gender.

      • Occupation: Shows the participant's occupation.

      • Github URL: Displays the participant's GitHub profile link.

      • LinkedIn URL: Shows the participant's LinkedIn profile link.

  2. Copy Details:

    • Click the "Copy Details" button located in the top-right corner to copy all the data of the displayed participant into your clipboard. This will be useful to extract details of a specific participant for future use.

  3. Pagination:

    • If the number of participants exceeds the current page display, use the "Prev" and "Next" buttons at the bottom of the page to navigate through the different pages of results.

Additional Tips:

  • The "Event Data Centre" is a powerful tool for organizing, managing, and analyzing participant data.

  • Use the "Clear Filters" button to remove all filters and return to the default view.

  • You can export the data from the Event Data Centre to a spreadsheet for further analysis or record-keeping.
